Yes, I believe others have used it successfully using MinGW.

Now I'm getting this error at runtime: Assertion failed: initialized_ && 
"SystemManager::configure() not called", file
C:\Entityx/entityx/System.h, line 137. My code is attached

That means exactly what it says; you need to call 
SystemManager::configure() after adding your systems and before using 
them.
