Colors

Colors

I'm giving up on e3 - time to move on.. running with Debian's diakonos
version 0.9.0-1

Few questions - is there a way to turn off colors? and use the terminal default?

If not - I will want to set up a light yellow background and black text -
I've been playing with the
config file - and found that colors can be defined as a number :

see https://github.com/Pistos/diakonos/blob/master/diakonos-256-colour.conf

But so far working with a plain text file I'm not getting there? If I use
number codes I seem to end
up with black on black...

What are the low number colors assigned to?

Any clues - bread crumbs etc??
