I like the idea.  So you can keep draft posts in your repo and work on
them from different locations.

Now that I hear your method of handling drafts,  I may prefer it.   The
simplicity may be worth keeping.

Sorry, there was small error in my patch that caused error 500 on my
blog after pushing changes to it.

I usually do drafts changing the file extension, but this makes a lot of sense!
